SamaGaal fish shops

In West Africa there are only 3 types of fish sales: "fresh" fish in quotation marks, directly from the fisherman rarely, but from the local port fishmonger, but more often from sellers along the way, in the sun, unhygienic and not appetizing. You have to search or have good contacts who will collect the catch directly from the fishermen and nowhere you get a big range of products. The second option is fish shops but there are only frozen products. That wouldn't be so bad if the products weren't completely oxidized and therefore dry. What's more, the freezers often break down because there's no electricity - no true cold chain either and a lot of products are still missing. The third type is the Supermaket chains but also there is no big range and it is well known that it is expensive and not managed well. We want to change this situation with modern fish shops that have a small processing/manufactory and adjoining restaurants so that the fish never gets old. It must either be sold, processed or cooked. The customers are there, because the majority of the West African population spends considerable sums every year on buying fish and a large part of the population, also due to the growing middle class and economic development, is willing to pay more for quality, more product selction/ like imported seafood and product safety.

Be excited about this retailing concept!
